‘Gando 2’ to be produced next year

The sequel for the popular Iranian series ‘Gando’ is slated to be produced soon.

Mojtaba Amini, the producer of the series, has announced that the second season of the series will be produced for the next year.

Amini said that since the first season of ‘Gando’ directed by Javad Afshar was warmly received by the audiences, we are encouraged to make the next season.

The series is a spy-thriller based on historical events which is Javad Afshar’s 15th TV series.

A number of popular ifilm stars such as Daryoush Farhang, Leila Otadi, Sara Khoueeniha, Aliram Nouraei, Pendar Akbari, Kambiz Dirbaz, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Kamand Amir-Soleymani, Farhad Qaemian were among the cast of Afshar’s series.

Series like ‘Dirty Money’, ‘Brother’, ‘The Edge of Fire’, ‘Jaber ibn Hayyan’, ‘Kimia’, and ‘Like a Mother’ are some popular names to ifilm viewers, all of which have been directed by Javad Afshar.
